Drag the items over to Moo-Cow and design the costume you think he should wear.

Campfire Foods
It turns out that Moo-Cow's not only good at starting campfires, but he's great at cooking over them as well. He showed us how to make a few variations on some campfire favorites.
Stickscuits
So, you really want some fresh baked bread to go with your campfire dinner, but you aren't about to try and cook a loaf in a fire pit. How about making some quick and easy Stickscuits instead! Stickscuits are biscuits on a stick, of course, and all you'll need to make them is one sturdy stick and a can of biscuit dough (the kind you find in the refrigerated section of the supermarket).

To Build A Fire
Building a good campfire is one of those things that can seem easy until you actually go to do it. Moo-Cow happens to be a campfire expert, so on the first night of camping he gave us all a lesson that we'll share with you. Before we started Moo-Cow made us all promise that we would always be safe and responsible with our campfires and never build one without permission or supervision from an adult. We promised, and we need you to as well. Okay, good. Now you can check out Moo-Cow's tutorial "Campfires the Cow Way."

Funny Signs 2 - No Exploding Cars!
Some signs don't need bad translations to be funny!
Editors Note: You wouldn't know it, even when you're standing right in front of it, but this is the sign for one of the best restaurants we've ever been to. We had the greatest meal of our trip there.

Funny Signs 1 - The Laugh & Frolic
As soon as we got to China, Moo-Cow began noticing that some of the signs that have been translated into English have been done so in a really funny way, and some are just outright strange. Many seem like poor translations, while others seem very poetic. Moo-Cow has his camera on him at all times and will be snapping some pictures of the best signs he sees on the streets of Beijing and Shanghai. He thinks you’ll find them as funny as he does!
He's going to start with one of his favorites so far. These are some rules posted at the Great Wall in Mutianyu.

MCFC Goes To Florida - Part 4
Part 4 - It Ends With A Splash
Over all it was a very successful trip, and I think we made a lot of new Moo-Cow fans. Plus, it's good for the gang to work for their living sometimes. Although, I think if we're going to make a living, Becky and I better be the ones who run the table at most shows.
The last morning, before we flew home, we all went down to the hotel pool to just take it easy after a couple hard days work. That all went well until F.W. showed off one of his trademark Wicked Wombat Water Whumpin' Cannonballs.

MCFC Goes To Florida - Part 3
Part 3 - Sales Techniques
The FPEA conference is huge and we are a small company, so I thought having Moo-Cow, Ramses & F.W. along might help us stand out. Now I'm not so sure it was such a great idea to have them working the table.

MCFC Goes To Florida - Part 1 (A Sketchbook Travels Adventure)
One of the big events of this past summer was our trip to Orlando Florida for the 2007 FPEA (Homeschooler's) conference, and for some "relaxing" vacation time. We brought Moo-Cow, F.W. and Ramses along for the trip , and I used the occasion to bust out the sketchbook and start my "Sketchbook Travels" series. All pictures are done with pen and watercolor pencils.

F.W.'s Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Pancakes!
I can't stop thinking about F.W.'s chocolate chip oatmeal pancakes. They sound yummy. Can I have the recipe? Thank you!
-Melissa H. Via e-mail
Okay Melissa, it wasn't easy, but we managed to get the recipe for you. We didn't have problems because F.W. was trying to hide the secret family recipe or anything, but because he didn't have the recipe! It turns out that this is a recipe his mom taught him and he's always just remembered it, but he remembered it as a pinch of this, a dash of that, and paw full of the other thing. He had no real measurements at all! So we sent F.W. into the MCFC test kitchens, with our master chef Moo-Cow, to work out a recipe everyone could follow. It took a lot of batches of delicious pancakes to get it right, but they finally got it down to a written recipe F.W. is happy with. Here is the outcome and we have to admit, they really are

One of the most important holidays in Australia is ANZAC day, celebrated on April 25. ANZAC stands for Australian New Zealand Army Corps, and the day celebrates the brave deeds of the men who fought in World War I. There are huge celebrations held every year, and many people celebrate by making ANZAC biscuits (cookies). These cookies were created during the war when people would send them in care packages to the soldiers. You can make a batch of these anytime of the year, but make sure to bake a batch to celebrate ANZAC day!
