The Forgotten One
Bonus, web only, super special, top secret, official Sword of the Ramurai illustration !
So, you've gotten our book, Sword of the Ramurai (right?), and you've read it 3 or 4 times already (hey, don't laugh, this phenomena has been reported by multiple sane individuals), yet this illustration doesn't look familiar to you.
There is a reason for that. That reason being, I forgot to put this image in the book!

Winter Yurt - Meat Tray Print
The Winter Yurt
Meat tray print with water colors on handmade paper.
Since Becky shared some images of the MCFC headquarters in winter, I figured I would take this opportunity to share a recent print I made.

MCFC Comics: Behind the Scenes
If you have read any of the Moo-Cow Fan Club Print Editions or visited our comics page then you are probably familiar with the comics I do about the MCFC gang. I thought I would share some of the process of how I create one of those comics. For an example I'll use the Toll Tale comic from the Pioneers edition.

MCFC Goes To Florida - Part 4
Part 4 - It Ends With A Splash
Over all it was a very successful trip, and I think we made a lot of new Moo-Cow fans. Plus, it's good for the gang to work for their living sometimes. Although, I think if we're going to make a living, Becky and I better be the ones who run the table at most shows.
The last morning, before we flew home, we all went down to the hotel pool to just take it easy after a couple hard days work. That all went well until F.W. showed off one of his trademark Wicked Wombat Water Whumpin' Cannonballs.

MCFC Goes To Florida - Part 3
Part 3 - Sales Techniques
The FPEA conference is huge and we are a small company, so I thought having Moo-Cow, Ramses & F.W. along might help us stand out. Now I'm not so sure it was such a great idea to have them working the table.

MCFC Goes To Florida - Part 1 (A Sketchbook Travels Adventure)
One of the big events of this past summer was our trip to Orlando Florida for the 2007 FPEA (Homeschooler's) conference, and for some "relaxing" vacation time. We brought Moo-Cow, F.W. and Ramses along for the trip , and I used the occasion to bust out the sketchbook and start my "Sketchbook Travels" series. All pictures are done with pen and watercolor pencils.

Are you ready to go into the toad home-building business? Alright, get your hard hat on and let’s start!
Make Your Own Rain Stick
Have you ever listened to the soft drip drop of rain on your roof? Doesn’t it sometimes sound like a song? And even though I don’t like thunder, when it’s far away, it sounds like a wild drummer. Sometimes a storm can be so musical. Now you can make your own stormy music with a rain stick!

Champagne Moo-Cow-Leroy by Naomi D.
Dear Moo-Cow,
Hi! I love your Magazine. I drew a picture that's supposed to look like a poster I have. The joke is that it's supposed to say "Champagne Duval-Leroy." Not "Champagne Moo-Cow-Leroy." Keby - I put you in the lady's flower dress because you like to garden.
From, Naomi D.
